Cereals with your morning coffee?
A SET OF 6 MINT CONDITION QUAKER OATS CEREAL BOWLS FROM 1908
I have the above for sale - either the complete set or as individual pieces.
General colour is pink overall with Mr Quaker Oats peering from behind a sheaf of oats on the base with a packet of Quaker Oats in one hand and a 'PURE' scroll in the other with decorations of oats around the rising inside.
They are still in their cardboard packing case which was sent by rail, on the old London, Brighton and South Coast railway, from London Bridge to Edenbridge. They have never been used.
Can be viewed in North Hampshire.
Also with the set is an 8 page A5 booklet entitled 'Beautiful Gravures for Quaker Oats Homes' which lists 17' x 13' gravures for sale at 1/9 each plus 3 white squares from Quaker Oats packets.
