1926 mirror

I have a mirror that was given to me a few years ago, and recently the old cardboard on the back came off and stenciled on the back was the date dec. 6 1926 and this: DURAND SILVERING PATENT PROCESS BOSTON it has a gold wooden frame. Where did it come from and what is it's worth with a couple of minor chips on the wood with original paint. Thanks,
