I have an authenticate 50s 12" Shirley Temple doll, I had this doll when I was approximately 6 years old.
On this 12" there is printing at the back of head. The printing may be worn about, but use a magnifying glass. It sez Ideal Doll ST-12.
On the outside of the pink pinafore dress (including matching panties) there is a tag attached which states Shirley Temple, made by Ideal Toy Corp.
The doll has banana curls, hairnet, pink bow on top of head. Mine included the red vinyl purse which sez Shirley Temple, very hard to find.
There is a silver plastic in script that sez Shirley Temple.
Some type of nylon socks with black plastic shoes without a strap.. On the bottom of the shoes there is a number 3, I haven't identity whether the shoes are vintage.
There are many other inches of ST doll. The stamp be appear at lower back of head, others may have the stamp at the back.
Many, many of the clothes will have some type of ST tag.
There many copies of the socks and shoes. When I've tried to authenticate these items I contact the seller and ask how they authenticated?
Maybe you have a method to authenticate the round ST pins? Many are copies even with rust on the front and back of pin. So it's very hard to identify as real. The pins will have many different pictures of ST. Please let me know..Jeanine
