I would very much appreciate any information on these two blue & white vases which I assume to be Chinese! I am led to believe they are possibly several hundred years old but this could be incorrect, they have been in my family for around ninety years.

The marks are for the kangxi period (1662-1722), and would normally, if period, contain six characters. I would think that the items (ginger jars), are actually late 19th century, as this was a typical way of marking at that period.
