I personally hve collected antiques for years, have had several mall spaces, and 3 antique shops, and maintained shops at Renningers Mt.Dora, and Webster Antique Market.
John and Jean in Dunellon are auctioneers with an antique shop in the same building.
Ocala Antique Mall had an auction right in their building for years.
And, the list goes on......

The most active local auctioneer around here is an avid collector of old metal signs and his collection is mounted high on the walls around his auction hall and absolutely not for sale. He also deals every week at unloading sales.

One of our local guys collects primitive pitchforks - also mounted on the soffit around the ceiling of his auction barn - and man, does he have a LOT!
