I was in the middle of reading previous posts on these types of photographs, and of course AOL lost my connection. I tried to find it again, but the msg. I was reading did not show back up.

I have in my possession a Daguerrotype and 2 Tin type Photos. Fixing to get another Tin Type in the near future. These are relatives of mine.

Could you please give me the dates these type photographs were taken. The Daguerrotype is in the original frame, etc. Has never been busted, or opened and is in good condition. My Tin Types have no rust spots or blemishes on them. I am very proud to have them irreguardless of age.

In reference to the Tin Type Photographs, I believe them to have been taken in the late 1800's. But possibly very early 1900's.
