diego collection

I have 21 Diego's, most of which I purchased in Diego's loft. I lived for several years about 10KM from his home which I visited several times. Had many a great glass of wine there. Glad to see there are so many Diego admirers out there.

As a collector of DIEGO, Patti and I have nearly 50 oil paintings and about 40 drawings. This website by Artifacts Collectors led us to the website for DIEGO set up by his grandnephew CHRIS VOCI

That inspired us to call on DIEGO's widow Helga in Germany, and one of his older galleries owned by Jadat Naffouj in Landstuhl. Helga still has a wonderful collection of maybe 40 oils, and a few drawings, and lots of lithographs. Jadat has only about 6 oils of medium quality at best. He also has lots of DIEGO lithographs. Both would love to sell the lithographs.


It would be great to somehow magically get all of the 5,000 or so DIEGO owners together and enhance the value of the works. DIEGO would have been 90 this coming August. Any ideas for an international celebration?

You were all alone for a year and a half under the thread “DIEGO Collection” until Artifacts Collectors placed my first post more than a month ago under the thread you started.

You must have been in Wiesbaden area. I first met DIEGO and Helga when they lived in Schwetzingen near Heidelberg. Please post the images of your DIEGOs on the “DIEGO Voci (Antonio Diego Voci)” thread. I posted 13 of ours. More to come. Remember to list size, titles, and possible year of purchase.

If you sold some, to whom did they go, so the images can be captured on ArtifactsCollectors.com? Are you interested in selling?

Also, check out the “DIEGO History” thread on Artifactscollectors.com. You should post your DIEGO experiences and facts there. Who, what, where and when.
