I have an Edison Record, one side is #10685, 51657-R, 'That Certain Party', written by Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson, performed by male quartet, 'That Singing Four'. The flip side is #10686, 51657-L, 'I Wanna Go Where You Go, Do What You Do Then I'll Be Happy', written by Sidney Clare, Lew Brown and Cliff Friend, performed by tenor duet, Arthur Hall and John Ryan. The label bears a picture of Edison and a copy of his signature over the declaration thatthe recording is ' A Product of the Edison Laboratories'. This disk is > 3/16 thick and is >9 3/4 in diameter. Any ideas as to its year of origin and marketability?

Attis2, I'm sorry to have to tell you that your Edison record if in very good condition is worth about $1.oo You may look in Jerry Osbornes' record price guide or contact the Shellac Shak for further information, but I don't think it's worth the time necessary.

George Conklin, Thank you for your information. I certainly didn't mean to mislead the original poster when I valued their record at around a buck and I'm surely not going to disagree with you where a only a couple of bucks are concerned. Yes, a country and western record is worth more, but the poster didn't have a C & W record. The price that I gave for the record is what Shellac Shak would pay for a similar item. If they can get $3 for their record, good luck. I have approx. 100- 150 nice old 78s and I'd be happy to get $1 each for all of them.
