i have several pieces of flatware (silverplate, silver, stainless) that i'd like to identify, but i have no idea what some of the letters on the pieces mean. if anyone can direct me to a site that gives information on these manufacturers marks it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.....

Thank You Marianne, for your response to cathy burton. I also needed that info. I'm real knew to this form of communication and I don't know all the terms that I have been reading but I'm sure I'll pick up more as life goes on. Thanks to all the people that have shared on (at?) this site. I'm really enjoying myself atho I don't think my husband is too happy. OH! WELL!! Thanks to all.
