Dear colleagues:

I have been asked to look into the feasibility of a transportation project in an area I have not dealt with before and since it is related to the exhibit industry, I thought I would submit it to your collective wisdom and knowledge.

One of the major aquariums in the US is planning to have a traveling exhibit and is in need of an exhibit transportation company that can transport a large (2000 sq. feet) exhibit involving live animals (mostly exotic fish and amphibians), aquarium tanks, life support systems for the animals as well as graphic elements and interactive display units. The first destination would be Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. Additional stops may include aquariums in New Orleans and Monterey. The project would involve disassembling, packing, transporting and setting up the exhibit again in the new space. The safety of the animals during transit is of primary concern.

Can anyone recommend an exhibit transport company with that expertise? Any suggestions on how to carry out this project most effectively? Perhaps shipping the animals by air and the rest by land...

Thanks!
