Genuine Pilkington Mirror

My wife and I have had a mirror laying around for about ten years .It's in excelent condition. We picked it up at a flea market. Does anyone know where we might find information about it's history. Pilkington doesn't respond to emails. More info on this mirror at:

Pilkington is a huge UK glassmaker. I think they're probably the only large-scale glassmaker left. Pieces like this might find a space in a local architectural salvage yard, but you wouldn't see more than a 'couple of bucks' for it.

Aha! Now I know what's behind that 'Pilkington' logo on my Land Rover's windshield!
