Thanks for that - this is original and complete - just been told that Arthur Seymour Sullivan was his full name so signature is more than likely authentic - Mike

In the light of this you do need to authenticate your signature.
Some of the (inferior) stuff he did with Edward German goes for a little more. (Say as much as a tenner)

John-Henry - Thanks for the advice, its greatly appreciated. I have no knowledge whatsoever just that we live in a area with no local museums or antique shops etc where we could go for advice(live on a small island). Folk are doing a bit of a spring clean and finding all sorts of different items from African masks to old stationary engines. I think you will be the one to give us advice on sets of glass slides that one of the crofters has. I have only looked at the one set and it was of Switzerland if I remember correctly. They belonged to his great uncle who was a missionary in Africa in the early 1900's but evidently travelled quite a bit. Going to have a go at scanning them the one day. - Thanks again - Mike
