Hello everyone!

During my research on items in my moms estate, I found your boards and thought I'd say Hi and ask a few questions.

As you might guess from the subject line, my questions concern fine china. I already know which sets the pieces are from, but need help with ideas about how to sell/dispose of them.

I've got about 75-100 pieces of Spode Aster-Red (Gadroon) and around 50 pieces of Lenox Imperial (P338).

My wife and I don't care for either pattern and don't forsee it ever fitting in with our decor style. It also doesn't hold any sentimental value to me so I'm looking to let it go.

Aside from Ebay or selling the lot to a replacement website, are there any better ways to sell fine china that you have found? (local shops, newspaper, etc?) The pieces are located in KY and I'm in VA so those are the geographical areas available for local options.

Thanks in advance for any ideas you might be able to provide!!!

-Robb

Hi Robb, welcome to the forum I think that is a grand idea: place an ad in a local newspaper (or an online local newspaper) and see if that generates interest. Why don't you like selling through ebay?
