Marrianne took pity on me (and on all of you also) and has uploaded all the pictures to her home page. This will make it easy for you to view all the pictures at once. I do want to point out that my picture of the illumination of the King's Coat of Arms is blurry in the picture but in actuality it is quite crisp and vivid in color. Pictures are here:

I think she deleted it because Ashley got her name wrong. Quite unforgivable, to spell Marianne with to r's.

Well, first I apologize to Marianne for the error in spelling her name. Obviously, was in a hurry yesterday. If anyone has trouble with her site, you can see them one at a time where I have uploaded them. All the picture URLs begin with
http://members.aol.com/a2gumbo/

Then put in pat.jpg, pat1.jpg, etc. through pat2.jpg. There is no pat8 because that picture wasn't very good.

Fascinating find. Please keep us posted on what the embassy says, etc. I have a gut feeling that this is going to wind up like the 'best of Roadshow' with the expert having an orgasm, eyeballs spinning, adding zero after zero to the value. Vicariously exciting!

Wouldn't that be grand?! I should check out the schedule for the roadshow this year. Would love to take it to them. Have starting doing some research on Charles XII. Will report back here later about him and when I find out about the gentleman who received the patent.

I said Charles XII because when I've done research on Karl XII it comes up as Charles with the same information that Martin shared. Martin, can you tell which is the correct name to use and why he is also called Charles?
