- bad fitting (person-to-bench)
- bad fitting (bench-to-surface)
- colors not natural
- partial milk-glass-like appearance
- no markings at all
- around 60 years old

I'd say: Made in Japan

Possible candidate for your type of item *could* have been the United China and Glass Company (UCAGCO) that had already been dealing with Japan before the war.

The possibilities are endless and in the end it's not worth the effort as the resale value today is near zero; even marked items are in the dumps.
