Old, rare, Indian headress.

A friend of mine is putting this unusual item up for sale and so anybody who is interested can email me for details.

Best regards,

Hi Blue, Unless your friend is a real native american, tell him to be very careful. About a year ago a shop in NE Pa. was raided and he was hit with a pretty stiff fine because the headresses contained eagle feathers. It is illegal to own eagle feathers unless your a native american. Just trying to help, sam

Many old Indian headresses were neither made by nor worn by Indians. They have been making headresses once a year at Mardi Gras for over a hundred years and likewise for the movie industry. My brother-in-law has an Indian headress that has probably never even been SEEN by an Indian. Jusy sticking my nose in....

Many bird feathers are illegal to own.

Here in Iowa, picking up and keeping a Goldfinch feather will land you a fine.

99.9% of the 'old Indian headress'' are actualy old boyscout serimonail headress, made of turkey feathers. Or turista junk. It is very rare for a sacerate object to leave the tribe.

I think you are mistaken when you say :'only Indians can own e.feathers'..They too must secure a permit from the feds. If you are a nonIndian you can get the same permit. We are under the same federal law in the matter. Jim an Indian in New Mexico
