Info on table - here's a link to pics -sorry about the binary

I have to get rid of these tables and I don't want to put them in the street if they are valuable. I sell a lot of bike parts on Ebay - but with antiques I am clueless!

They have have a heavy marble top that is polished and beveled they also have marble at the base I don't know how to tell what the middle of the table is (brass? copper?) the tables are very very heavy they were given to me by a friend.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I could repay the favor if anyone had any antique bicycle or bicycling related items they need appraised.

Where did the friend get them?

No appraisals here, Nik. You only get that when you show the item 'live' to an appraiser.

But....maybe someone can give you a 'yes' or 'no' to your question about putting them on the street.

Turn them over, and see if there are any markings or words in the metal. Also, make an image of the very center of the base, where the joinings would show.
