Howdy,

My mother bought Irish lead crystal goblets from Jaccards in St. Louis in 1957. The style was Majestic by Acadia. Where would I start looking to find something like this?

Thanks Greg Flynn

I don't know anything about this pattern in particular, but I can tell you that Waterford Crystal is a major and historic Irish Lead Crystal producer.

Our 'Wedding crystal' thus far has been from Waterford's: my ring holder (I figured my ruby and diamonds deserved an equally exquisite place to rest), and a crystal handled cake knife (for cutting our wedding cake at the reception).

If you are looking for this particular pattern, I'd try calling or stopping by a local upscale crystal/china/silver shop. Since it's an older item, an antique and retro-items dealer may be of some help, too.

I'm not sure where you are, but if you were looking in Canada, I'd suggest calling William Ashley and Birks to start. Otherwise, I'm not really sure...somewhere that specializes in fine crystal and other 'wedding
