I was hoping someone could tell me if Francoma Pottery is still in production, and if so how I might contact them.

I am looking to replace two green/brown Francoma cloverleaf candy dishes/ashtrays for my mother. My best estimate is that they were purchased direct from Francoma (in Oklahoma??) about 20 years ago.

Does anyone know of someone who deals largely in Francoma? I have seen the brown/tan version of the same dish at a flea market, but never the green/brown.

I am located in central Illinois but am interested in finding the pieces wherever I can.

Any information you could provide would be MUCH appreciated. It would really be a nice surprise for my mom!!

Thanks in advance,

Hi! Frankoma Pottery went bankrupt in 1991, but I believe they were bought out and are producing today (tho I don't know if they are doing old molds or not). You can contact them by calling directory assistance in Sapulpa Oklahoma. Good luck

Frankoma (with a 'k' changed ownership in 1991, but is still in business. Try directory information for Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Whether a particular piece is still in production is another question.

My reference book lists a 4-leaf clover ashtray (Mold No. 223) that was produced from 1957-1991, book value $7.50-$8.50. If this is the ashtray you're looking for, there ought to be quite a few of them out there, given that it was produced over so many years. Of course, finding it may still be a challenge.

Dorothy, Believe the correct spelling is FRANKOMA. As far as I know they are still in business, but, may not be making the pattern you are looking for. Will keep my eye open for you.

Hello,

You can reach Frankoma at P.O. Box 789, Sapulpa OK 74067 or call 918-224-5511. You may also wish to contact the Frankoma FAmily Collectors Association. That might be a good place to find out-of-production pieces. They do put out a newsletter. Contact Nancy Littrell, P.O. Box 32571, Oklahoma City OK 73123.

Good luck
