Marlene, your note reminds me of a TRUE story that happened a few years ago:

I have a dear cousin, mentally handicapped. A few years ago, she threw her bean bag on the roof, and her elderly father refused to climb the ladder and get it down.

After a few rainy days, she was amazed to see the bean bag start sprouting. After a few more rainy days, it had implanted itself right into the roof.

Finally, Dad climbed up and got the damned thing off the roof - vines and all. She planted it and they ate the beans about a month later.

Ever since Beanie Babies became popular, I've been tempted to buy ONE and either throw the damned thing on the roof or plant it. Votes?

I think digging a hole for it... Ooops, I MEANT planting it! is a great idea! If each of us planted just ONE beanie baby, think of what a better place the world would be!!!
