Director: The Macon County Historical Society, Decatur, IL seeks a full-time Executive Director. B.A. in History or equivalent, M.A. in Museum Administration required. Expertise in museum and historical society operation required. responsibilities include administering the society's existing programs and initiating new interpretive and educational outreach; coordinating fund-raising and special events, institutional development and public relation; supervising volunteer and paid staff; managing preservation and restoration projects.
