KY derby glasses

The book 'Warman's Americana & Collectibles' lists Kentucky Derby glasses under the heading Character & Promotional Glasses. My 7th edition lists a range of prices from $4-$375, most of the glasses falling in the $40-$50 range. There are also some specific books on glasses that you might find at your local bookstore. I have no feel for how realistic these KD prices are. In my corner of the world, the 'prices' on glasses in guides have little to do with what the market will bear. If these are newer glasses, i.e. less than 50 years old, you may have more success in the group rec.collecting, as rec.antiques is for discussion of older items.
