I have just acquired an antique marble top table and don't know what to use to clean the marble with. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you just mean regular, everyday cleaning (as opposed to something like a big black ring where a can of axle grease sat on the table for 40 years or something), ammonia diluted in a bucket of water is the best thing i've found for cleaning marble. A soft toothbrush probably shouldn't hurt it, if you need to scrub it a bit.

All the windosills in my house are marble (there must have been a marble surplus in the early 40s), and for routine cleaning, I also sometimes use Windex, which has some ammonia in it. If it's white marble, though, I don't know if that would be a great idea.
