I'm looking for any and all suggestions on how to get rid of mold and mildew on items. I have a few vintage dolls that I've found that are in exceptional shape except for mildew on the clothes and body. This problem rears its ugly head all the time on many of my finds including furniture, clothes, etc. and collectibles of all types. Help?

For anything washable, wash it and then set in the sun for an afternoon. Ultra violet rays kill mold and mildew. For small items that are made of paper or cardboard, nuke them in the microwave, which also kills mildew. Chlorine producst work also, but may be too harsh for some materials.
Hope this helps. Judith Katz-Schwartz

Although these suggestions could be helpful, keep in mind that mold and mildew is a complex subject and the various remedies are not so simple if protecting the object from harm is a factor.
You have vintage dolls, I would contact a textiles conservator. It is true that sunlight will stop mold and mildew from spreading
