Could someone please help me identify a basket that was part of my grandparents estate. It has been in the possesion of my sister for over 20 years and before that occupied an unimportant spot on the book case on my grandparents sun porch. As they are both dead now nobody knows the true origin of it. It is a coil type basket made from grass with red and brown geometric pattern, it has a worn spot right at the top near the spot where the coil is fastened at the end. I have photographs available that I could send to help with identification. As this item was never discussed by anyone in the family, ever that I know of we know nothing but there is the possibility that my greatgrandfather may be the source.after the Cival War he traveled for thirty years before he married my greatgrandmother and lived in Colorado in the 1880's and 90's. Any help that could be provided will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Sincerely Ken Raymond
