Looking at a general metalware page it seems that all human life is here!!
My main reason for writing was the inclusion of a Christmas Tree stand,(as discussed here recently) which actually seems quite a nice piece with a little bit of age.
However, how the heck did the 'Vienna' plates turn up here?? and what does it say when out of a few pages of half decent items the best priceoffered is for a Buck Rogers Space Gun !!!!!
I know that I can only talk from the metalware I've seen offered on Ebay, but the old plaintiff cry in this group of 'you don't understand, we haven't got this sort of stuff over here' from some US contributors is simply not true. I have to say to them that I just don't think you really know what you've got.(duck..!!) Many crappy items get huge bids, yet I've seen excellent items sold that still have 300% profit or more in them.
IMHO there's a killing out there to be made in early domestic metalware for some of you folks in the US who are willing to put a bit of research in....
Jane...what do you think?
