I have an old electric table fan that I got when my dad died. It is metal with a metal grate on it, all metal body, turquise color originally, the front says Wizard Deluxe Western Auto Supply Co. It is a 16" oscillating fan, with 3 speeds. Number on front is 6 j 2410 (model No?, not sure about that). Does anyone have any ideas. I think it may have been made by Emerson and sold by Western Auto but can't find one like it. Thanks if you know anything, send me a message.

Hi plaw2008,

I've seen similar table fans at vintage sells. In fact I think I saw of photo of one recently. Because they are so old many were thrown away years ago and the other can be found at yard sells from time to time.

Linda, thanks, I know it is old, it was in my Granny's old house with a lot of other old stuff when my dad died. Where do you live, may I ask? I live in Winnfield, La. If you hear anything else let me know. I will keep on digging. I dont want to sell it, I just want to know about it. We have a good bit of other things that are really old too, but probably wont sell any of it, we just want to know about it.

I'm from CA so I probably go to different sales.
I tried to search Google for it but found nothing.
I'm usually able to find almost anything but the specific details didn't appear anywhere

My name is Pat. I got an email from someone in another antique collector group who told me that it was made in the 1950's by Western Auto, and it was worth between 45 to 58 dollars. I think I found the one she found but it is not exactly like mine. I will keep trying, but thanks.
