I need some help in valuing some old newspapers. Is there any kind of a guidebook that deals with that issue? I have some WWII era LA Times, some Seattle papers reporting the sinking of the Titanic, and a NY front page describing Lincoln's assassination. Please responde by e-mail to:

Thanks for any help and direction you might be able to offer. George Cosson.

Hello, You may wish to contact the Newspaper Collectors Society of America. They organization has an internet site: http://www.historybuff.com

There are tons of reproductions of the Lincoln assination papers. You will need to do some research into yours to see if it is an original. The above society has provided good information in the past on the points to look for in Lincoln and George Washington papers.

Good luck
