I'm trying to find the origin of an old stone cross. Last I know it was brought over from germany. Any pointers on how to go about it would be appreciated.

Hi, Don -

Before anyone can offer 'pointers,' can you provide more info?

Such as: what IS it? If you don't know, perhaps a description (size would definitely help, as would any carvings, wording and other markings.)

I'm afraid 'old stone cross' gives a different mental picture to each reader (and if you've read the postings from this eclectic bunch, you can imagine the mental pictures floating about!)

Please provide info on the newsgroup, publicly.
