Hi!
My mom has my grand-mother's porcelaines. The whole set is ~1930 and in very good condition. I have come upon items with the same design, and I would like the find out what it's worth.
Here's the detail...
The markings say:
TRIUMPH (There is a 9 leaf fern around the letter U)
******* MADE IN USA LIMOGES C-49
CHANTILLY ITS-284 WARRANTED 22K GOLD
All items have a gold intricate border (probable 1.5' wide) and a 'picture' of old world aristocrates (ladys in wide gowns, men in riding suits, etc.).
My mom's set is probably a service for 12. I have found a person willing to sell 6 cups and saucers and a service plate for ~100$. Is is worth it? Some of the cups in my mother's set have had the handles glued back on. I am aware that those cups are probably not worth anything.
I would appreciate any information anyone might have.
