For the most part according to Coin World. The 1000 pound denominbation gold kilo coin with a total mintage of 21 (to mark his 21st birthday) sold out in 80 minutes at a price of 14,500 pounds (approx. $24,000 US). Despite a not so great economy somebody has got money to spend. For sure $24,000 is about the average price of a new car? consistently depending on the extras you wanted. On the one hand nothing against William but I think I would go for a car (smile face here).

CVM has a nice fine 1796 with pole half cent. I could apparently buy that, and have enough left over to take a Carribean cruiuse. Or I could get a kilo of gold with a
Prince on it.

Seems an easy decision to me. To a fault sorry, Bill.
