I'm hardly an expert, but I do like to restore vintage fans. I gather that Robbins later became Robbins & Myers, then started calling themselved R&M and were prolific makers of electric fans. Here's a good link to start surveying the field of vintage fans. <http://www.fancollectors.org/>. Vintage electric fans are rather 'in' right now, and you will see them as set decor in many furniture and furnishing magazine ads, along with vintage phones and radios, and on the sets of many televison series.

I have found this old floor fan, made by 'Robbins'. Brass blades, black frame and stand. Works. Could use some help with the value. Understand theses are quite collectible.
