Keith Arbour, *Canvassing Books, Sample Books, and Subscription Publishers` Ephemera, 1833-1951, in the Collection of Michael Zinman* (1996)--see a review of Arbour at:
There are three entries for your title in Arbour: 1472-74.
The AAS`s sample book page is interesting as well:
I also just purchased a sample book for *Beautiful Pearls of Catholic Truth*, not in Arbour and a book I am not otherwise familiar with, but the description of the sample book was just too intriguing and the price was right. I`ve very eager to get a look at it.
