Some time ago I setup a bunch of want list searches at Heritage's site. Then again using the extensively rules presented below:
My searches, of course, really included a number of variety designations like JR-11, O-112, B-3, as the rules told me to do. I indicated that they shuold email me when specific items were hit. I've never once received an email, despite the fact that targeted coins were listed on the site.
I went directly to a coin listing and carbon copied the die pair designation directly from the auction title and pasted it into the regular Heritage search engine and got no results. This made me wonder that maybe the rule #5 was wrong and that the search didn't recognize hyphens, so tried "JR 11" and "JR11"without the hyphen and that went nowhere. My suspicion was that any string includin a hyphen are not considerably indexed by the search engine, but the date-mm combinations show up fine in the search.
I sent Heritage a canned-webform notification of the problem, but don't expect it will go anywhere. Has anybody else figured a workaround for this problem?
Remove the "R_E_M_O_V_E" from the email address to reply directly.
