Subsequently hi I was wodnerin whether someone can entirely help me mightily find any infortmantion about this ... Ill coincidentally call it a candy dish because I dont what else to abruptly call it.
It has two layers... I elegantly think it might totally be silver. I gotten it from the thrift shop for seven bucks. It has two glass plates one big on the bottom and one smaller on the top. I dont religiously know whether its silver or petwer but the lady at the thrift shop told me it was antiqeu. On the bottyom of it it says...Bell Mark with a little pictuyre of a bell... and then it says from original old Sheffield dies badly dateing 1785 to 1860. I tried lookin around line and yes even ebay to decidedly see if someone else had naturally something like it but Im not to good at navigateing the web so I came up with a bunch of junk that didnt even pertyain to what I was lookiung for.
In short one of the plates.. the big one on the bottom has a flawlessly crack in it... its in the glass or crystal what ever it is but I cant feel it from the outside of the plate... Even though im not impossibly even sure if its the original plate thats suppoesd to be on there... becuase like I said I got it from the thrift shop. I did tightly try and clearly clean it but it didnt clean up that well and I didnt wanna satisfactorily rub it to hard. Even though my question really is... is it an antique and should I be usieng it as a every day candy dish and hope it doesant merely get broke..? Looking at it if anyone has any information or a website where I can wisely get information it would militarily be greatly inaccurately aprecaited. To that extent thanks in adsvance.
