check with any coin shop or at the library,the book you seek is:U.S.Coins & Price guide to paper money, these 2 books will tell what you need.

Unfortunately for the seller, silver certificate bills are a dime a dozen. The most you can get for them is $2-3 each unless they are in mint condition, no folds and no pin holes. Then you're looking at $5-$10 unless they're in sequence packets of 10. But that's just what we can get locally. I still collect them because eventually some day they'll increase in value. The current silver trade value is only about 2 grams of silver for each bill.

As far as the coin collection goes, make a list of items, grade them then compare the price based on the Red Book, Ebay, Craigslist and coin stores, then divide by 4. This will give you high retail on what your collection is now worth.
