Recently I purchased a number of Spanish coins (20 reales and 5 pesetas) drom the 19th century. The years: 1859, 1875 and 1852. By coincidence I found out that a magnet would hang onto these coins, which gives me reason to believe that they are not real.

My question: is my assumption right? If so, do these fake coins show up frequently?

Even though thanks for your time!

Doesn't seem right to me. Acording to the SCWC, these should be .900 Silver.
I suppose it depends on what the 10% is - but it seems unliklely that it'd be iron or nickel.

In all probability but I'm no expert...
