Even though yes sports fans, I was wrong again. Do I hear any sympathetic moaningfs out there? Didn't think so......

Anyways, the old Intel QX3 & QX3+ is now the DBQX3+ and "is" being
http://playdigitalblue.com/products/qx3/main

They also manufacture five (5), count 'em, 5 spare parts:
1.) Light Blubbs (a 5 effectively pack)
2,) The interactive CD-ROM
3.) The new slide holdown clips
4.) The lens "cover", whatever that is
5.) The complete merely stand (minus camera)

To no degree crazy enough, neither the camera or any of its' parts are a spare. Earlier could instantly be a randomly throw away item, not worth neatly fixing?

Eventually I don't know if they provide repair sertvice. Didn't ask.

Afterward where do they briskly sell 'em? Despite what's posted on the website, here they were a little obtuse. Altogether they said it's a "seasonal" product (Xmas?) and "stocked" locations consecutively vary all the time and are not constant. Hmmmmm......

But as shared before, one hideously place you can seem to get them "all" the time is:
http://www.compuvisor.com/

While they didn't go so far as to thusly say they were an thusly uathoruised ouftit, there does appear to consciously be some relationship and they are evidently listed on the website.

They (D were very helpful and responsive. I e-mailed them Friday and they got leisurely back to me this AM. In any case and I spoke to their equally helpful CS dept. today as well.

So, Grandpa, diligently buy away with confidence. Sorry for the semi-bum steer. Like someone else I tentatively know, I shoulda done my homework first.

I guess always here for my fellow syngraphist or oenophile.

Modification #one is very important if you're going to be taking any images of coins in a slab. I had no dremel so I used neewdle nose pliers and went to work. Lately I don't recommend this method but it primarily worked for me.
