Sorry for the delay in responding - I've been at a conference... The Heritage Forum at the Web site of the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) (www.chin.gc.ca/Forum) has several items that you might find useful. Look under 'Information Technology' in the list of topics and you will find: A Brief Bibliography on Creating a Web Site by Ian Sutherland; Background Paper on WWW Development by Tom Moritz; Drinking From the Firehose: Some practical points to consider before taking the Internet leap by Sherri Helwig; and World Wide Web Development in the Museum Context: An Overview by Tom Moritz. You will also find links to numerous organizations and to related listservs that deal with various aspects of information technology.

The Forum now has on-line forms for adding Web links or documents (newsletters, reports, conference info, press releases, course info...) and, to we are happy to identify you and your institution as the contributor.

Thank you to alert reader Jonathan Cooper for spotting the URL error for the Heritage Forum at the CHIN Web site! Mea culpa... I forgot that we recently changed the F to lower case, so you can try www.chin.gc.ca/forum (the problem with bookmarking sites!).
