I get the M.A.D.,Antique Trader,Collectors News,Art & Antiques,Collector Editions, etc. and just in the past month or so, I read a long informative article on 'barbed wire' collectors/ collecting. Well, I don't have or never have had any barbed wire and I've forgotten most of what I read. So now, I have the opportunity to buy 8 lengths of barbed wire from the 1880s mounted on a framed panel and can't find the article that I recently read anywhere. Did any of you read or see the article that I'm referring to ? Someone tell me what I was reading ( and the numbers of next weeks $20 million dollar lottery). thanks, PS I'm sure there are some books that I can send away for or clubs that I can join for this info, but, I need it Yesterday.

As the editor of AntiqueWeek, I can tell you, I get more phone calls from readers who want information such as yours than anything else. We are always happy to look up back issues for readers, I feel that the editors of the publications you take would also do the same for you if you give them a call. We keep our paper indexed on computer so that we can look up requests such as this one. AntiqueWeek did a barb wire article last year or the year before, after a writer visited a Barb Wire museum. I believe the article mentioned some references. If you want the article AW ran, just send your mailing address and
publications you subscribe to a call and see if they can help you.
Good luck
