WHERE DOES MY CLOCK HAVE A SERIAL OR MODEL NUMBER ATTACHED? IT IS NOT ON THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE. ITS A SESSION REGULATOR NO. 2, A WORKING CLASS CLOCK, MADE IN THE 18XX'S. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

PLEASE! No need to shout. First of all, if it's a Sessions (not Session), it was made after 1901 or 1903. I forget the exact date. The company was the former E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. and was bought by a Mr. Sessions, hence the name.
There may not be a serial or model number. Many of these companies cranked them out with nary a mark on them. Often there was a paper label, either inside the case or pasted to the back. And often they're missing. You might also check the movement to see if anything is stamped on it.
Tran Duy Ly has written a number of books on American clocks. I'm not sure if he's written any on Sessions specifically, but he's got a couple of general books. You might find some information there.
Hope this helps.
