We have just purchased what we believe is a reproduction of a Governor Winthrop style secretary desk. The maker may be 'Maddox'. It is made of mahogany, and we are told it came from Jamestown. Can anyone help us identify this piece and its possible age?

Thank you.

Maddox is a good maker. It was probably made in the 1920's but its hard to tell without seeing it.
